Based in Bournemouth and working across Dorset, including Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks and the surrounding areas, we specialise in fully bespoke fitted furniture - from custom wardrobes and kitchens to alcove units and media walls. We’re a small, experienced team with a shared commitment to quality, creativity and precision. Everything we make is made to measure, with no flat-packs, no shortcuts, and no compromises.

Meet the Founders

YOUNG + DENGEL is led by Jack Young and Neil Dengel - a partnership that combines creative design with decades of hands-on experience.

Jack is the designer and first point of contact for most clients. He studied Three-Dimensional Design at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth, graduating with a BA Honours degree, and spent most of his life living and working in London before returning to the South Coast. Jack brings a blend of design expertise, creative thinking, and personable communication to every project - making sure each client feels informed and inspired from day one.

Neil is the workshop manager and head of production. A joiner since the age of 16, Neil has over 30 years of experience in bespoke furniture making. He brings a calm, precise and practical edge to the workshop - ensuring every piece is built to exacting standards. Jack and Neil first met while working in London and now run the business together in Dorset, combining their skills to offer a complete design-and-build service.
